Teaching Fashion ,Costume and Textiles

For the past 8yrs I have been teaching Fashion, Costume and Textiles Design.

Working with children and adults of mixed  ability, my aim as a teacher is to develop their talents and aspirations, building their confidence and self-belief.Nurturing the creative process of each individual, the children engaged in designing, hand sewing and machine skills to produce an array of garments, accessories, collages and sketchbooks.

I am responsible for creating exciting new projects that run throughout the term. These projects ensure that I am always looking for new trends, cultures, exhibitions, arts and crafts that will inspire young inquisitive minds and develop a thirst for the arts of the world.
